What not to do on a spring day.

Not sure how this happened, but I'm spending this beautiful first day of spring upgrading all of our computers to use different virus software (since our provider will stop offering the previous software in a few weeks), and also upgrading all of my 100+ blogs (because blogger will stop offering FTP in a few weeks). Blech to both... taking up the whole day.

People are ridiculous.

I had to swerve around a hitchhiker standing in the MIDDLE of my lane of a busy street this morning. Understand that he was trying hard to get a ride so he could get out of the pouring rain, but I wonder if he's dead yet.

The other day, I went to back-to-school night for the girl's class. She is in a two-teacher classroom. This is our first experience with that... the boy never had one either. Both teachers are very nice. One of the teachers gave the girl a nice compliment: "Your daughter has a great sense of humor!"

I went home and told the husband about this, and the boy overheard. The boy said: "You're welcome."

Funny thing: he's probably right.

Strange family

Yes, we have a strange family. My son is blowing a large conch shell like a shofar while in the bathroom. (shrug) At least he's doing it correctly.
