Genius Marketing

The crazy mail-order catalog Hammermacher Schlemmer was recently advertised subtly on Hannah Montana this past week. The episode aired during a 1.5 hr cross-over special with Wizards of Waverly Place and Suite Life on Deck. What was so genius is that the same day that this show aired, we received the newest Hammermacher Schlemmer catalog in the mail. I don't remember the last time we got this catalog, so this timing was pretty darn near perfect and a little blatant. My kids? Now all over this catalog and fascinated with everything in it.

School's out for summer

Today was the last day of school! Kids are excited, and I'm just glad that the craziness of June is halfway over.
